What fabric do you use for your organic bedding?
Our Humble Baby Goods swaddles, moses basket sheets, changing pad covers, mini crib sheets, and crib sheets are all fabricated from 100% organic cotton muslin for ultimate breathability and softness for your little one. With each wash they get softer and softer and snugglier! The loose weave is very breathable and keeps your little one the perfect temperature while they sleep the day away! All of our covers & fitted sheets have been professionally serged and have an encased elastic trim for a secure and snug fit.
How do I naturally soften my organic bedding?
Organic cotton muslin does not have a soft hand at first, because it is a natural fiber that has not been treated with harmful harsh chemicals that help to quicken the fibers to break down. It has to be used and washed a few times to get it to soften up. It is inherently crinkly and that is what people love most about this fabric because it is breathable and has that natural, laid back aesthetic. The more you use your organic cotton bedding, the softer it will be! This type of bedding is naturally extremely soft and will soften even more over time with washing and usage. If you really want to try and soften your bedding further, try adding half a cup of white vinegar in the wash or rinse cycle. This will help soften your bedding more naturally.
What are the sizing dimensions of the organic bedding items you offer?
All of our organic bedding is made to fit standard size baby items. All covers & sheets are sewn with professionally serged seams and encased elastic to ensure a safe & snug fit on the pad or mattress. There is a gusset as well that allows +/- a couple of inches to help accommodate for different sizing.

How are your organic baby bedding items made?
All of our organic baby bedding items are designed & printed to order in Orlando, Florida. This can lead to slight variations in pattern colors, size, & placement. Once printed, each cover, sheet, or swaddle is then sewn by me and packaged with love to be sent to you! Since our baby bedding is hand crafted to order, there is a 2-3 week production time before shipping, unless the item is marked as a ready to ship item. If you absolutely need an item shipped quicker than that, check out our ready to ship items or email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to ordering and I will be more than happy to see how I can accommodate you!
How do I wash & take care of my organic baby bedding?
All fabrics have been pre-washed in a fragrance-free gentle detergent to minimize shrinkage. We recommend that you wash before first use.
Machine wash cold delicate setting with like colors, or hand-wash. Avoid washing with items that have velcro, buttons or other materials that could snag the delicate open weave fabric. Tumble dry low or air dry for best results. Just keep in mind they are a double gauze cotton which will have that traditional puckered look once washed & dried. We also recommend having two sheets or covers on hand for when one is being laundered, the other clean cover can be used on the mattress or pad.
What I want is out of stock. Will you stock it again?

Do you ship internationally?
We sure do! International shipping costs vary by country and order weight. This amount is calculated at checkout. International sales are final and no returns will be accepted. We will take care to include proper documentation and labeling on orders to prevent unnecessary charges. We are not responsible for import, or customs charges. Depending on the location and each country's postal procedures, your order can take up to 4 weeks to arrive. Please check with your local customs office about rules and regulations that may apply to you.
I just placed my order! When will it ship?
Typically, since all orders are made to order, they ship within 2-3 weeks and alot of times even sooner! You will receive tracking information as soon as your order ships. Orders ship out of Orlando, Florida.
Sometimes orders can be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances or high volumes. If you order is experiencing any kind of extended delay, you will get a notification from us letting you know.
How should I safely use my products?
All of Humble Baby Goods products should be used with the proper supervision and oversight of a responsible adult. Here are a few extra helpful tips.
Swaddle Blankets: Always place swaddled infant to sleep on its back (supine position), NEVER on its side or tummy. Stop swaddling as soon as infant shows sign of attempting to roll.
Fitted Crib Sheet: Prevent possible strangulation or entanglement. Never use crib sheet unless it fits securely on crib mattress.
What are your safety tips for the Moses & Changing Baskets?
Our Ghana Moses basket is recommended for use until your baby is 3-4 months, 20 lbs and/or when baby can roll over, push up or crawl. Stop using immediately when any of these limits are met.
Infants can suffocate in gaps between a mattress and the side of the Moses basket. Only use a firm mattress less than 3" tall that fits snugly with in the basket with no gaps. You should NEVER add a pillow, padding, bumper pads or comforter.
It is recommended by pediatricians that infants be placed on their backs positioned on a firm empty surface TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SIDS. Do not add any soft objects, toys or loose bedding to basket.
Do not place your Ghana Moses baskets on tables, counters or any other elevated surfaces. Do not place basket near stairs. While baby is in basket place the handles in an outward facing position.
While these Ghana moses baskets are very sturdy DO NOT move or carry the basket with your baby inside of it. Remove your baby first before moving basket to a new location. DO NOT attach toys or place toys with strings or cords in or around the basket to avoid strangulation or choking. DO NOT allow pets and/or other children to climb into the basket while your baby is inside. AVOID the use of plastic bags inside the basket. DO NOT leave infant unattended.
Help! How do I maintain by basket if it arrives misshapen or has stray grass?
Your basket will most likely arrive a litle out of shape due to shipping constraints, but don't fret! If basket gets out of shape, simply submerge in water (think your bathtub) and re-shape as needed. Be sure to FULLY air dry the basket before use. Also, being a natural item, there may be some stray grass hairs, and you can easily trim off any stray grass with scissors to refresh the basket!
Why do the colors sometimes look slightly different with your prints from product to product?
One thing that makes Humble Baby Goods special, is the intricate nature of our prints. We create each print with an acute focus on detail and, often times, a diverse set of colors and hues. Given the complexities of printing on the light and airy fabrics we use and given the intricacies of the colors we often employ, slight variations can and do occur, depending on the fabric it is printed on.
As each product is hand-made, there might be slight variations to size, design, or color from what is seen in the listing images.
I got notification that my order arrived, but it did not show up on my doorstep. Is there anywhere else it may be?
Many of our orders ship USPS as the fastest way. Typically, USPS does not delivery to the doorstep, but will instead deliver to a mail box, community mail slot, or post office. If you receive notice that your order delivered but it did not get dropped off at the door, check your local mail box or mail slot. Sometimes UPS and USPS drivers mark a package as delivered when sometimes it does not, but will deliver the same day. We encourage you to wait an extra day to see if your package arrives, if not, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will look in to the matter further.

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
Most of our items ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Unfortunately, sometimes these shipping providers don’t handle your packages with the same love and care that we do. If you experience a situation like this, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work to make it right. Please realize though that in most instances damages that occurs during shipping are not our direct fault, and please be respectful of that.
What if I realized I typed in the wrong shipping address after placing my order?
Currently, after orders are placed you do not have a way to go back in to the system and change the shipping address. Just drop us a line at email@example.com and let us know about the goof and we will correct it. If you realize this after the order has already shipped, still reach out to us and we will work to make it right. No one is perfect and we want you (not a rando) to be enjoying our products.
Can I change my order after it is processed?
If you need to change or cancel an order after you have placed it, please reach out to us within 24 hours at firstname.lastname@example.org. If the order has yet to be sent to production, we will most likely be able to work with you to get the changes corrected.
What is your return policy?
Defective products can be postmarked for return within 30 days of delivery. If the product is damaged or flawed, please send a picture along with your order number and contact name to email@example.com. International Sales Are Final.
We currently do not offer free-shipping on returns (except for damaged/flawed items), and original shipping on orders is non-refundable.
Items in new condition in the original packaging can be returned for store credit.
If you received your item as a gift, please send a picture of the receipt or proof of purchase and we will get you taken care of.
Refunds/store credit are processed as soon as we receive the returned item(s).
